boiler help ??

Since December 2008 our boiler has been broken down, no hot water or heating........It has been condemmed (not in a proper flued area and is old no parts are longer avaliable. (moved into house without proper survey as hubby wanted to save money !!??)
We are both on jobseekers (due to credit crunch) and as we are not over 60yrs, have no dependant children or elderly parents living with us we have no means of assistance.
A loan would double if not triple the cost and we havent enough money to pay for it anyway.
Any ideas anyone..................can you beat the C.A.B whom can find no assistance either....................from shivering Wendy :(
