Why are some lights on buses blue?

One , it's supposed to have a calming effect , and secondly it makes it hard for users to find a vein x
if you mean the ones inside the bus near the driver, its so the driver can see out better when driving at at night, or thats what i was told lol
theyre not buses, theyre fire engines you numpty :)

Hi bigmamma :-) what you have put sounds more likely than what i was told to be honest lol and why, oh why when i use public toilets with them lights in, do i feel oblidged to try and find a vein even though i have never infected drugs in my life !!!! lol
