I'm lucky to live in Cornwall and wondered who has visited the county. I'm posting this video because it has some iconic images of Cornwall. The music by the brilliant composer and violinist Sue Aston is called "The Home Coming". Hope you like it as much as I do. (I'm not paid by Cornwall Tourist Board to write this!!)

I adore Cornwall. I've holidayed in Bude a few times and in St Austell (Pentewen) more times than I care to mention.

Boo, you might remember that LLods Bank advert with the black stallion galloping through the surf. That was filmed at Pentewan. I believe that a mare on heat was stationed at the other end of the beach to encourage him in the right direction!

I'm not exactly sure which hill she is standing on but it would be very close to Penzance. The island with the castle on it is St Michaels Mount which is close to Penzance and you see it in the background once or twice. BTW you can walk over to it at low tide on the causeway but you have to use the ferry when the tide is in!
We drove 13hrs through the night to spend a holiday in Cornwall -based in Tintagel- and it was like entering a different world -I absolutely loved it -it was one of the most magical holidays i have ever had - I would love to go back one day....

I've had several holidays in Cornwall - love the north coast particularly. Lat time I went we stayed just outside of Port Isaac. Also spent lots of time around St Ives, Newquay, Bude, Hayle and I love the beach at Widemouth Bay.
