Can you tell us the symptoms of the "blind" fish. Quite often, marine fish will get "cloudy eye" where the eyes clod over with a white sheen. This is often a bacterial infection usually caused by stress or poor water conditions. I had a lovely majestic angel that had the same but it cleared up after a week and lived for many years.

Once established with being blind, most fish will go on to lead a normal life....as long as there's no predetors such as lionfish in the tank.
there are a species called blind cave fish which don't actually have eyes, which I used to keep (it was a mistake, they're ugly as sin and grow huge!). I found that when I first put them in the tank they would hit everything for a few days, but then they learnt where everything was and didn't bump into anything (even the other fish, which were moving around). I think they can sense through water movement etc, so it will probably just take your fish a week or so to get used to it, if it really has gone blind.
