I heard on TV recently that more UK families visit Ikea on a Sunday than Church!

I am far from religious myself, but could it be that Ikea is the new religion?! Does anyone know if there is any truth in this statement wrt Ikea visitors figures and Church-goer numbers?

Does it really matter ??? Human kind goes through all sorts of contortions, crisis of conscience, hand wringing and periods of doubt. But, there is no question that religion (of whatever persuasion) will still be here when Ikea is long forgotten or just an interesting sidelight on a twenty-third century Antiques Road Show.
I don't know about that one,but apparently 1 in 7 people born in Europe were conceived on an IKEA bed!
wish thet would open one in oxford.
wooo go IKEA ^^

Not religious, i'm a teenager. I still play in the kiddy department outside IKEA.
Its so fun :)
Anyway. I guess it could be true, but the 1 out of 7 rule sounds pretty realistic! x
