And very worthy it is too. The German-language drama's seven wins broke the Bafta record for the most awards for a film not in English. Harrowing, yes, but a seriously brilliant film.

Sweeping the board at award ceremonies.

Ah, right. I don't know much about him so I've no idea if he's a worthy winner - but this film certainly is.
I thought Douglas was talking about Harry Styles sweeping the board at the Brits!

Or is he in the film?
Forget what I said!
im not usually good at "harrowing" as i watch films not to be harrowed but entertained.
I did, however, see this film and thought it was good. I wouldnt watch it twice though
Is it on netflix?
Question Author
Yes Lottie.
I think I'll wait until they get around to dubbing it and showing it on Freeview.
Ami i right in believing there was a thread on here not so long ago criticising the fact a remake had been done. Looks like it is a very successful remake.
I'll most likely give it a whirl when i've caught up fully with past series of Unforgotten ready for the fifth - currently half way through series 2.
Can't do with dubbing, OG. Puts me right off when their mouths are not in sinc with what they are actually saying - reminds me of the Bruce Lee films i watched back in the day. Much prefer subbies.
Thanks Naomi x
Can't do with subtitles. Too distracting. May as well read the book directly.
I'm not a lover of war films. Is it very violent?
Naomi when you say harrowing, what do you mean?
