This is from the Mail so you have to take it with a pinch of salt but - what was your favourite perfume from the 80s? I chopped and changed every year so I can't remember all of them. I didn't like the heavy perfumes such as Obsession though. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11036219/Fragrances-complement-neon-roller-skating-Barbiecore-gear.html

I loved Samsara and was often asked what I was wearing. I bought a bottle last year and it had no smell at all. A big disappointment.
Opium never went away, Mrs 9401 is a regular user. :-)

I used to wear the original Chloe. Same thing - the new one smells completely different.
The late MrG was very English and very reserved........ until he met me. His first gift of perfume to me was Lanvin's My Sin.... ;-)
That's why we're sitting in different rooms, Dave.
I wonder if it's life and the ageing process that changes scents.
I used to be a Paco Rabanne geezer but when I got hold of a sampler recently it fell kinda flat.

My first love wore Paco Rabanne. Even today if I pass someone on the street who is wearing that, it takes me right back.
I'm aware of most of those but never wore them but knew friends/family who did. I did wear one by Oscar de la Renta and also Paloma Picasso otherwise I can't remember.
Alison! :-)
Youth dew, oh how it stained one’s blouse :0))
I'm not touching that one. ^
My biggest should never ever have gone there love also wore Paco Rabanne. Mind you he also wore Lynx Africa. Both smells now send me into a mini breakdown.
Wasn't there a previous recent post discussing this?

My first love gave me a a bottle (well, an atomiser) of YSL Rive Gauche. It was a striped blue and silver tube if I remember rightly.
^^ Bednobs started one earlier this month.
Seem to remember Rive Gauche and Anais Anais. Cost next to nothing at Duty Free.

Sorry, I didn't realise that someone had posted about this. I won't waste any more of you time then. Goodnight.
Well I missed the other one, 237....and yours has brought back memories..... :-)

Anais Anais was the one I always received from travelling friends and family...still have a bottle somewhere from years ago.
