No thank you.
Ideal for someone prepared to do it up. It will sell.

Location wouldn't bother me.
I bet it goes for more.
I'd consider it, bearing in mind it needs renovating. I don't think the location would really bother me...it would be quiet!
Laziest plumber in the world worked on that one.
I hate neighbours anyway, so at least they'd jeep themselves to themselves.

Seems a nice drum to me.
I wouldn't mind, but it will go for a lot more. I would worry more about prangsters and youths than any ghosts!! Ghosts might be interesting!!
We'll go and live in it then Pasta! I didn't see your post before I posted!! We could have some fun!!
I don't like neighbours either!
Yes - a house in an isolated position is also more likely to attract burglars etc.

There's a house near me that may have been a former chapel. It has quite a small garden which appears contain about 1/2 dozen graves.
And it's not in the graveyard. It overlooks one. Lovely house. OH lived in a house overlooking a graveyard when I met him. Church one side of the house and pub the other side!!
No, it wouldn't bother me - not a great fan of neighbours either, even though I have nice ones ! It's a nice house, but would cost a lot more than the asking price to modernise it.
davebroYes - a house in an isolated position is also more likely to attract burglars etc./

That's not our experience. Most burglaries take place in built up areas where burglars can remain unspotted or ignored. We haven't had any burglaries in ourremote area . And we have lived here for 42 years.

/The rate of recorded crime was also lower in rural areas than urban areas for crimes such as robbery, residential burglary, and vehicle offences (theft of, theft from or vehicle interference). For example, there were 2.9 vehicle offences per 1,000 population in Predominantly Rural areas and 6.5 per 1,000 population in Predominantly Urban areas in 2020/21/
I think I would feel less safe with a complete absence of neighbours. Maybe that's just me.

I reckon at auction it will go for over £300,000.
I have two neighbours reasonably near. But they can't see what's going on here. We also have a couple of huge houses with run owners. One got his sheep stolen!!
I suppose I'm just used to not seeing neighbours Dave. I have never felt nervous here. The church and graveyard is just up the road though and has had lead stolen.
I don't know about buying a house with a graveyard but several churches in our area have been sold and turned into dwellings with the graveyards all around them. The one in the centre of town is enormous and some of the graves go back hundreds of years . The people who bought it hold regular events such as farmers markets and boot sales. They have, with the help of a grant, done wonders to the interior of the building . However I think churches should be better used as art, antique or local history centres.
Ed might fancy putting a bid in to house banned ABers...
Lottie, if your stollen is lead you are over-cooking it.
I'd want to see an inspectre's report first
