Yes, Bobbi, it is the truth. Jennifer Saunders is the latest in a growing line of those who make people laugh for a living to mourn the loss of the freedom of speech that comedy - and most of the rest of us - once enjoyed.

I posed for a photo next to that Statue in 2014.

I don’t post much now as I used to , more since Asquith sarkily said I entertain in CB, well now I know why , I posted what I thought was funny although not funny enough to go into the joke section , perhaps she’s right, I shouldn’t bother :0)
Not the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth
Oh I wouldn't worry about AB's biggest non-contributor, Bobbi. No one takes her seriously.

I see poor old Hilda Ogden and her Stanley are the latest to be frowned upon - not least for having said about 40 years ago that Chinese food is foreign. You couldn’t make it up.
It's strange, but I don't recall any statues being destroyed by anyone over the last few month, save by those removed by whoever owns the property they're on. While I agree that vandalizing them, for whatever reason, is wrong, isn't it time to let go? Nobody's viciously attacking statues anymore.
Please accept my apology for answering truthfully, I find humour everywhere both in everyday life and from sources of entertainment.

I do agree that some folk have become somewhat dour and at times sour, that is regrettable.

Nothing at all better to do , I only hope this idiocy will disappear sometime soon and we get back to free speech
