You may be thinking of Dennis Bovell's Dub Band. They often back Linton Kwesi Johnson, and are just know as the Dub Band.
I know the song Reggae High, but can't remember if it was them or not. I have an album somewhere called "Audio Dynamite" (I think).
If it's the same band, they're a fantastic group of musicians, some of the instrumental dub stuff with LKJ is just out of this world.
I think thay may also have recorded under the name of the Session Men on LKJ's own label on the b-side of a track by Mykal Smith, "My Cyaan Believe it/Solitude."

Your quite right Chillum it was Denis Bovell but just called Dub Band, I'll take onboard all your info but still I find it quite strange that there are no listings anywhere to be found and yes your right this record was and still is brilliant today - thanks for your answer
The fact that you couldn't find any info is exactly why I thought it might be them. I searched high and low but found very little.
You might get some info here
