What a quandary.... :-(

The quote for my car insurance renewal was £281 so, like others, I phoned to get it brought down.
The only change is having Dave as a named driver and that was when they came up with a new quote.......£181.........great.......I've saved £100......but....

Do I give Dave half the saving....or spend it all on shoes?..... :-)

Simple - shoes every time.
It's not a saving.. That's such a woman's logic. You're still forking out £181
So to answer.. You spend it on shoes ;)
shoes. No contest.....or alcohol and chocolate

Thank you, Ubasses and Woof....nice, straightforward answers from ladies....
The other answer??? Honestly, Spath......how can it not be a saving if I have spent £100 less?....Typical man!... ;-)
Because you're still paying £181 i'm sure Dave agrees ;oP
To be fair Gness, it is different getting money off insurance (bit of a saving) and then buying a pair of shoes / dress what not because it was 20% off, then saying i saved so and so ££ ;)

Spath...you're wrong.....but it is Tuesday.....x
:D
Spend it on yourself gness. I suppose you could get him a little something, like a car sponge....
Treat Dave to a pair of shoes.
Derrr no brainer - shoes!!
Spend it on half-price shoes. Then you have saved twice as much and Dave owes you a holiday :-)
Why not go out for a nice meal?

If Gness wanted to spend it on a meal then I am sure it would have been one of the options given above.
Dave could spend his £50 on a meal RR or put it towards. It would be nice.

Hey, Mr Builder!!!! More shoes.......YAY!!!!..... :-)
Aha - what has not yet been revealed is that I saved around £140 by adding Gness as a named driver to the policy for my mad-nutter turbo Audi ... :)

... the chances of her getting to drive Siegfried are approximately 'snowball in hell', but it seemed to convince my insurers that I was in some bizarre way a safer driver for having gness on the policy ...

I spent the money on some bottles of rather nice Malt ...
That means definitely shoes and Dave owes Gness £70!!!!
