Lovely day on the Seafront, sunshine, bit breezy but it is nice.
Think I have just about got over last night, we were all putting the World to rights 'til after 0200, as you do while consumiing the odd G&T or two, it was fun at the time, surfaced late, lots of coffee.
Having an at home night tonight, getting a take-away delivered and find something to watch on the box.

Hopefully someone has some more exciting plans than that lined up.

Just enjoy it all while you can. Sod plans - they’ll probably go wrong anyway.
Lovely .
Mem Sahib off to Notts with several old nurse friends from the Set she trained with back in the 70's. I have been cooking a stonking home made chicken vindaloo. Have finally polished interior of car windscreen.
With this low sun it sure does highlite it. It looks like nicotine film but NO ONE is allowed to light up in it. :-)
Off to blow the froth off the top of a few Doombars and come home to my curry and Grilled papads. A simple life.

You are probably right bainbrig, sometimes not worth the effort.
Hello Retro, your idea for the evening sounds good, hope Memsahib has a good time too :-)
I am surprised that the snowflakes aren't up in arms at the term 'memsahib', given its etymological derivation.
Hi Tash, have my sons coming over later and a chinese takeaway is on the menu along with a few bevvies!!!
or someone outraged you refer to her as that, ya know like "my woman" or something
Question Author
Reckon I can use it Jackdaw it is my language.
Sounds nice Sharon, hope you have a great time.
I'm sure she will Tash. They (5) meet up and invade a fellow ex student nurse's house.
Very Sadly the nurse who hales from Monaco was struck down with M.S. about 30years ago and now she is confined to a wheelchair and cannot move from neck down. She is inspirational and types e-mails and designs greeting cards etc on her specially designed laptop using a stylus held in her mouth. She has to be spoon fed. The girls all arrange between themselves before hand who is making the starter,Mains, desserts etc then have a lorra laughs. Their jokes would make a RSM blush. Mem sahib did a Moroccan flavoured prawn starter called Tabouleh with King Prawns.
It's quite eerie here. Like awaiting a Ghibili. Very breezy but blowing warm air. Feels like walking in front of a convector heater. Quite pleasant and at least dry.
JD. Whatever I write on AB I will upset someone.
I have referred to my wife as such long before I joined AB.
She is a white lady. Nothing derogatory in that. She has no objection. Her brother describes his wife as the 'she devil' :-)

Sounds like a really good evening in store.
It is a bit like that here, have just been in garden with the dogs and the wind has a warm feel to it.

Or ' her indoors '

Who would refer to their partner , using such a derogagtory term ?

Oh , hang on ..

George Cole was a Gent :-)
It's not what you call us it is the feeling behind it, my woman, my old bat, can carry more warmth than my darling when my darling is for show. I called Dave a lot of things that viewed written down would look awful but Goddess knows I loved that old git more than anything in the world

Just in from a good walk with Nat, Dave and the dogs, it was lovely out there, sun starting to set and the wind with a warm edge to it, nice.
I am the Little Injun and Nat who is about 2" taller than me is the Big Injun, yes I am little, 5' 0" and we are both Indian, I will not say what we call Dave :-)
No more exciting than that for us old ffffarts! Lol....waiting for a takeaway we shouldn't eat but hey....you only suffer the once and regret it and then you forget the suffering rofl. Have a naice evening whatever you get up to....just hope I don't fall asleep into my 'dinner' and wake up with curry on me face *Chortlesplutters* xx

I'm glad someone saw the sun. It's been blowing a gale in the Southwest. Walking the dog felt like a dangerous exercise with tree branches everywhere.
Question Author
We had quite a noisy night due to the wind, outdoors not indoors, no rain though.
Today has been nice, a bit windy but not cold, lots of sunshine, was good for a dog walk, we enjoyed it.
