^^ JSA for a couple over 18 is £113.70 how come you get £130?

Sorry didn't see this was in jokes.
Now called ESA, it is paid fortnightly and for a single person over 25 the rate is £72.40 per week, £144.80 per fortnight.
ESA is a different benefit hc4361. It is for those who can not work due to a long term illness, you do not have to 'sign on' for ESA.
Job seekers allowance (JSA)is paid to people who are fit and actively looking for work (the clue is in the name.) You have to sign on every 2 weeks for JSA. It is less than ESA at £113.70 for a couple over 18.
Oh! I thought they'd lumped everything under the same umbrella, Eddie.

A single person over 25 apparently gets the same pay if he is on JSA or ESA - £72.40 per week, paid fortnightly
you must be talking about a weekly payment, eddie. Hc is talking about fortnightly payment.
If reduced JSA payments are being made it will almost certainly be due to the DWP collecting earlier overpayments (or what they mistakenly believe to be such overpayments).

Phone 0845 608 8618 (M-F, 0800-1800) to query it.
Universal credit is not yet fully rolled out hc.
wolf63, you try living on benefits for a while. It's not the walk in the park people seem to think it is.
Don't forget, your gas, electricity, water, TV, insurances, petrol, food etc. still cost the same.
Be grateful you have not been thrust into that position, because believe me, it's not fun so theat last thing you need is people dismissing your plight. *Rant over*.
oh dear^
Oh dear what Shrek? I work 40+ hours a week for a very low wage and owe nobody anything. Your taxes are not supporting me.
Hang on a minute frognog , what has wolfie said wrong??

Simply pointed out that the question was in the joke topic.

I don't think for one minute she is unaware of such matters.

Rebuke over.
^^wolf63 is referring to this question being posted in the 'jokes' section, Frog Nog .
Opps Mamya didn't see this was in jokes. Sorry.
Don't get it in that case.
Sorry Wolf :)
You're taking your anger out on the wrong people. This is in the 'Jokes' category.
I knoooow. Sorry Svjek, Jeez. Sorry
I simply think it is an accidental mispost.

My simple advice to the OP is to ring the office paying the benefit.
