The Aug bank holiday is over, soon the vile little cherubs will be back to school and , at last, we'll get rid of the grockles . After all that, we'll get our town back to normal.
By the way, just to let you know, the 13 miles I did for a local charity in June has collected over £70,000 so far in sponsorship money. Not bad as we only had 600+ women taking part. I hope many more will join in next year's event..

I've done all my ironing so that's one more chore behind me. I'm meeting friends at 9 as we are off for our 5 mile walk this morning. The rain will be back later no doubt but this morning should stay dry.

We had a lovely day again yesterday ,absolutely glrious sushine all day, cut grass and hedge, also did neighburs side as his leg is playing him up..he thought he'd had a strke..but turns out he just needs physio to leg he broke badly last year..more brwnie points fr St Peter !

I also bought a blue tooth keyboard for kindle..it's absolutely brilliant.using it now..thoroughly recommend it..from Sainsburys !

Welcome back jan xxx :o} Tiggy is still taking food back to the nest before he feeds himself. He's trying to get the little'uns and the missus well enough fed to survive hibernation. One thing in his favour is that he only has about 10 yards to travel each time. There was a dust up between the rooks and some seagulls yesterday. The seagulls ended up legging it at a rate of knots. They had got too close to the rookery I reckon. It was fun to watch. :o}

Jan they are not too bad, mum has a bad cold though , so I have been ferrying copious amounts of pills and potons to her..ta for asking xx
