Single Sex Clubs

The Open Golf championship this year was held at a club where no women are admitted as members. Do you object to the existence of such single- sex clubs for sport, or at all ?

hmm difficult....I guess the answer is in principle, yes i do, but in practice as it applies to my life, I would actually pay not to play golf or go to a golf club.....

There were no guys at Gaydar Girls on Saturday.

Sometimes it's refreshing to have time without anyone of the opposite sex.

I don't see a problem with single sex clubs.

Not that it's comparable to the past, but there are still a couple of women-only colleges in Oxbridge. I don't have a problem with this, but as long as women-only institutions are allowed to exist, then so too should men-only ones.

Like Elvis I came to this thread expecting another topic. My eyes saw "simple sex clubs". What a let down.

Much has changed in recent years for all of us who are not white heterosexual males - that covers a few folk.

We must be realistic though - clubs such as the golf clubs are private and I feel that they should be left to get on with.

We have gays in the armed forces - I think that there is a place for women on the front line and in special forces. Very few women would be suitable but I don't think there should be a blanket ban.

I have to admit that PMS and a machine gun would make me ready to take on the bad guys.
