I've just been lookong at the big winners page for this month and someone who lives in Edinburgh, who only had £10 worth of bonds, has won £100, 000.
Isn't that fantastic!

That's brilliant!

I have a single bond my Granny bought me when I was born. I won £50 back in the late 80s and was chuffed to bits.

Wins are always a pleasure, even if it's only £25
cheers - just reminded me i need to figure out how to to replace a lost one
I've had £25 ( I think ) worth of the things for about 25+ years now
I dont even know where to put my hands on the certificates .

Do they write and inform you if you have won one of the prizes , or is it up to you to check for yourself ?
How are you seeing big winners? I looked at the premium bond checker and it is still showing May results.
Bazile, I signed up so that my winnings get paid direct into my bank account. They also send you an email if you do this to tell you that you have won. Otherwise you have to wait until they send you the winnings by post.
I don't understand how they work.
Question Author
They will send you a 'warrant' if you win Bazile, if they have your present address.
You can check yourself for unclaimed prizes but you need your bond holder number. Give them a ring if you haven't got yours.
what dont you understand ummmm. You buy bonds and they pick out numbers each month using ERNIE. Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment. You can cash in your bonds at any time (some or all of them)
Can someone please post the address of the website?

June's big winners are listed.
So the same bonds can win over and over again?
Oh thanks Tilly. Now I am trying to work out if any of the London ones could be me?

Sorry sp2, I can't do links on my tablet. Just type in NS&I in Google
Thank you slaney.

I'm off to check if I've won a fortune...
Yes ummm. I have a huge number but only win 25 quid and some months nothing at all. I live in hope.
Question Author
Maybe you'e the £1000000 winner!
It would be lovely, Tilly, but I doubt it! a) I think my bond is only worth £1, and b) I don't live in Edinburgh.

But a girl can dream!
Question Author
Well, I hope the Edingburgh winner is a sweet, little elderly person.
