Does anyone else use this?

I bought some of this on Friday and have just used it for the first time. It doesn't 'rub in'.It stays on your skin and makes it look almost fluorescent. Have I put too much on? Will it tone down?

I think it is designed to be a base under foundation M and S do an 'illuminating base' that looks similar

Thank you, rowan. I'll see how it looks tomorrow, under foundation. I don't wear make up at the weekend. I give my face 'a rest'

and use a bit less it should just give a slight lightening effect

Hi Tilly - I used to use it but it does tend to stick on your face and make you look shiny -not a nice look -I stopped when I saw a pic of myself and looked like a torch -I was almost flashing on and off! the protect and Perfect is much better for my skin which is dry.

I have been using the Protect and Perfect up until now but the assistant in Boots assured me that this new one was the right one for someone my age. Cheeky madam!

Tilly's remark reminds me of the time I went into a beauty salon and asked for a facial. They asked which type I wanted from their list. While I was deciding one of the staff looked across at me and said "anti-ageing".

I used this again today but used much less and then put foundation over the top. It just gave me a nice glow. Can't say I've noticed much uplift though.
