..outside and I've got the day off work! Would've been nice to go out for a walk down to the local shops but I don't want to go in the rain.

Going to work in my local shop for an hour or so in a bit to help them out. We're neighbours and friends and occasionally I help them out if im not at my real work and they need to go out. Then ive a trip to the bank- not looking forward to trudging up in the rain for that one!

I would have gone to the shops today too tiggs but it is raining, grey and cold here so I really don't think I will. I might put it off until I can bum a lift from my daughter or even my son-in-law, depending on who visits first. In the meantime I am wandering about on Answerbank. Got plenty of food in the house so not really necessary to go out.

Absolutely persisting down here ( as it did most of yesterday and last night ). I've got the day of to, but my plans have gone down the pan because of this poxy weather :-(

I'm prone to catching colds and flu Bednobs. I've had around 3 bouts of cold and 1 bout of flu already this year.

Same as you. Its my day off also! I'm going on holiday on Friday, so I have to pack my case today. As well as that, I have all the housework to do, and I'm baking as well. Well, after I have had another look round AB, Twitter and Facebook, of course. Not forgetting that I have to catch up on last nights Downton!!! ;-)
