Do any of you hear part of a conversation between others and wish you'd heard more?
Examples:-
1) I heard a small boy say, "Mummy, what did the carpet say to the frog?"
"I don't know darling, what did the carpet say to the frog?"
I never heard the answer.
2) In a clothes shop a man said to his wife, "Of course, I have enough pairs of tights now, so it's no problem".
Intriguing.

Not quite Mick. I was actually in a women's clothes shop, with my wife I hasten to add.
Reminds me of the wonderful random overhearings of The Man Who Fell Asleep on the London tube trains.

There isn't really anything all that funny about them, but taken in isolation they are so weird they always make me laugh.

As for the chap with the tights, my OH and his friends have been known to buy women's tights to keep warm when they go fishing in winter. At least, that's what he tells me.
Look up book of overheard conversations, fab little book and made me giggle.

Random ramblings of a drunk man in the dog field yesterday made me laugh, cant recall what he said just that it made me giggle!
