Would have thought his 'Di' song would have been ideal for the ceremony celebrating all that is British

Sorry, should have said 'where' - crumbs on the keyboard making it stick!
No - I think it would have been subduing for the crowd...
Oh God no!

The only thing worse would've been if they'd trotted out Paul Mcartney, oh no wait, sadly they did.
Don't be ridiculous!
That song was completely ruined when it was changed for diana.
It was Elton's babysitting night.
Bad idea... very bad idea.
Why do people assume that diana was universally loved?
I didn't like her at all.
And that's why we have people like Danny Boyle.
Me neither daffy.
It could have been worse, they could have had Status Quo.
With Snags....bad idea. Especially with Camilla attending.
lmao tony! No one deserves that!
John was a total embarrassment at HRH's Jubilee concert - as was McCartney, so why was that ageing Scouser there again last night? Talk about being played out!
Get both of them into retirement homes - now!
Take That Greatest Day should have been the end song, how relevant and inspiring. Instead Macca was awful and Hey Jude irrelevant.
I certainly wouldn't have wanted her (metaphorically) dug up in a national celebration - most people have moved up and on. If we were going to remember the dead (other than in the Great Wars, which was rightly acknowledged) then they should have shown Churchill's barge going up the Thames, too.
They played a snatch from the Sex Pistols' "God Save the Queen" in the film just before the Ceremony - on that basis, Johnny Rotten should have performed, too :-)
Hey B00, nobody deserves Macca but we keep on getting him !
i know Tony, sick of the sight of him personally. I never thought that on his own he was ever good to begin with. With the other 3 yes, he was magical, but on his own...a snoozefest.
Totally agree with that B00, gawd I wish he would pack it in.
