have inadvertantly spilt red wine on pastle green painted walls (don't ask!). any tips for removal?

You could try Stardrops.  I use it the most cleaning around the house.

You can buy it in any supermarket.

The best bet is to paint over the stains - if you do not have any paint left - try the Dulux mix to match service available in DIY stores.

i'm so glad you've asked this question as i can now share my new find! Flash do a white sponge thing - I'm sorry, I don't know what it's called, but it is FANTASTIC!

I've got 3 kids and have had so many marks around the house that have been there for ages - paint, biro, scuff marks, even permanent marker on pine furniture. Any way, this little baby removed the lot!!

They are sold in packs of 2 and sold in Woolworths for about �1.99. You just damp them with plain water - it must be some kind of magic!
