If the genders were reversed I can just see the bloke getting a similarly understanding judgement, not! Must try that one myself, got ratted and thought the Stewardess was the Mrs! Right oh!

She wasn't 'let off'

<<Goldberg, of Ealing, west London, was fined £1,500, and ordered to carry out an 11-month community order and 80 hours of unpaid work.

She must also pay £250 costs.>>
Being fined and getting community service isn`t classed as being "let off"

Pretty sure a bloke would be in one of her majesty's holiday camps for short/medium stay.
\\\\\She was heard to tell the air steward: "Let me and you go somewhere. You can touch me anywhere you want, I don't mind."\\\\

and he complained?
Ah, the default 'pretty sure' setting........

How many articles would you like me to link to where men have done much worse to women, and received risible punishments, geezer?
I like the way the staff "moved her to the plane`s gallery". A plane with a gallery - how nice! Sqad - she probably isn`t his "thing" if you know what I mean.

I think sqad that most air stewards bat for the other side so they'd probably be offended!
2376.....no I don't now what you mean....;-)
Kayless......I didn't think of that.
Ah, the penny dropped!
237SJ.......Oh!....I get you.........doh!
< great stuff chaps - keep going and see just how many stereotypical insults can you fit into one thread >
geezer?

is kayless geezer then?
OK we will.
joko: I'm "pretty sure" that would be a reasonable assumption.

I have to say I do think it's a storm in a teacup episode, and she certianly hasn't been let off- at best it's amusing- at worst irritating, but at no point was anyone in any danger from her and the result is she has a serious criminal conviction and it's doubtful that she'll be allowed to continue in her profession as such. The whole things is just a shame- and can't really be compared to a male groping a female in any way.
I agree with Nox. I think most men would just shrug this sort of behaviour off as an annoyance and not bee deeply offended and hurt like a Woman maybe.

I think this woman is really paying a heavy price, I think the biggest problem here was being drunk on the plane.
There`s another one at it in the Mail today. A Qantas pilot this time. Seems every 7 mile high potential frolic is going to make it into the newspapers.
