Who believes that Sir Alan made a bad decision firing Miriam... Paul should definately be the one to have gone. The words he fed Miriam during the show were worthless. Sir Alan would have been better off listening to his side-kick Nick on this one!

Miriam as a seller was brilliant. However, if anything her performance was her undoing.

Her team had a larger choice of items to mull over than the other team. Ideal World thought she was great yet her team were in effect trounced by an average presenter.

It showed that it was the products that were the problem. As Team Leader she was ultimately in charge of choosing them. She also failed to tell the other two in how to direct her. As it was they both were shouting into the mic with different quips one after the other. In TV it isn't the way you do things.

It;s a shame. I'm sure Sir Alan was rooting for her. She needed to manage but ultimately only proved what a great presenter she was.
Another of Sir Alan's bad decisions. He should have  fired Saira weeks ago.

He likes Paul and Saira because they're both gobby and pugnacious, that's the kind of person he's looking for, that's why they're both still there even though they've both done sackable things - (Saira should have gone for producing that rubbish poster for the ad campaign). I think ultimately though they both might be slightly too much for him and Tim might win it.

I'm willing to bet Paul will win.

i think james might win although sometimes i think hes could do with a wee bit of paul/sairas bottle.
..Anyway, does anyone know where you can buy those wolf spirit jackets - they were fab.
my husband has said from the start that Sir Alan has always known who's going to win and he's just firing everyone else anyway. He thinks it's Paul BTW

I'm beginning to think that Sir Alan can't possibly have any real inside knowledge as to what the contestants are saying when on camera doing their little tasks - Paul would have been out on his arse weeks ago otherwise.

"I can't take orders from a woman",

"Well, that just shows what happens when you put a woman in charge" etc etc.

I feel so sorry for his wife, what a little ******!!  So convinced of his own importance. I'm sick of the way he leaches off the others, always trying to take credit for their ideas.

Miriam was brilliant, and a very graceful loser too. Paul would have had a hissy fit, before bursting into tears.

Ditto!!! Paul is plonker! and my god that suit!!! What was he thinking!  BTW - We fell about laughing when Saira and James were trying the jackets on!!! What a hoot!

....... we had tears in our eyes ......... am still chuckling at my desk now. ;-)
I could not agree more with you crisgal.  Sir A.S knew from very early in the programme who he wants as his apprentice.  They left Siara in to provide "viewer entertainment".  I know that James is not the winner.  My friend interviewed him a few weeks ago for a job they have on at his company.  I think Paul is the winner.
Taped it last night, but haven't seen it yet. Looking forward to it. Can't decide who I want to win yet!

Although I thought Miriam was a very professional seller I believe that may have been a slight weakness. James has a touch of the 'Boris Johnsons' about him and is so frightfully posh I imagine the vviewers may have found him amusing.

That said, she easily outperformed her two producers and I was surprised at her exit. She showed a lot of class when she left.

As with crisgal's husband I believe Sir Alan knows who he wants and is 'tactically firing,' I think he actually does want a salesman, who may well be unpopular but gets results.

Does anyone know what type of job is on offer?

Is it working close to AS?  If so, I cannot see how either Paul and Saira's egos will cope with that or or his with them or that James will be able to make any impression.

I think it was a terrible decision to sack Mim. I think Paul shoud have gone weeks ago, but then would we still all keep watching if there was no strong characters in it?

I think Paul is crap every week & I was very disapointed with Tim this week, I always thought he was a good player, but I thought he was an @rse throughout the task.

Oh! I saw someone in a Spar Shop today wearing not a wolf spirit fleece jacket, but a horse spirit one! Respect...
