can anyone quantify and analagize the forces/loads/energies equivalents to when the Titanic was split in two by the amount of flooding and also the impact of such a heavy object at speed hitting the sea bed?
also how long before the titanic disappears from the sea bed thru corrosion?

The evidence is disputed and is most unlikely to be per the 'Titanic' story of Decaprio and Kate.  If the front end of a ship starts to flood slowly (undisputed) and starts to sink then the subsequent punctured and unsealed bulkheads will flood one after the other.  The weight of the fore end now being unboyant would start to lift the after end out of the water.  But because this is based on leverage you would need a solid fulcrum (about which the ship must rotate) of which there was not one available.  So when the fore end sinks, the after end rises but because the whole weight of the ship is pressing on a liquid fulcrum the ship just settles a little lower in the water.  For the after end to be out of the water even by a small amount then the ship must have reached a position of stability suggesting that the huge amount of ship, flooded and under water, is in some way bouyed up by the after end of the ship being unflooded and submerged with the stern sitting atop the water.  Ok this could happen but mechanics say that the ship could not possibly support itself (be bouyant) with half let alone three-quarters of it submerged.
