I'm trying to find a song from the 90's

Now I doubt anyone will be able to help because I can only remember a slight bit of the music video and the tune (no lyrics). The video part I remember features the singer running towards the camera in some kind of animal costume. I remember is he is running at night maybe along a desert road. I know this song was out in the 90's, probably 96 onwards. The tune always pops in my head from time to time and I've searched for years! The music gentre is most probably indie.

Thanks for the suggestion Booldawg but thats not it, although that is a funny video! The thing about the song I'm looking for is that although the video sounds quite funny, the song wasn't, more of a typical indie/moany type of song. Much more mellow than korn anyway!

I remember being in sixth form college and the video would come up on that old music channel UKplay. I was in sixth form from age 16-17 and I'm 29 now so it must have been around 1997/98.
