I'm 14 and have very oily skin and I get quite sweaty. Sometimes I get out of the shower and I'm still a bit seaty even after washing several times.
Is there anything I can try?

I can't help with any suggestions about gel. Are you sure you are not over-washing as that can make things worse.

I have tried not washing as much but it just made it worse
Becky get some Tea Tree Oil from Boots, around £4. When you have had a wash put a couple of drops into the palm of your hand, rub hands together, and spread under arms. Wipe off with your towel but as I say - It has quite a strong smell (so you could use a bit of loo roll to wipe dry) but it apparently kills bacteria, which cause the smell under your arms. Then wash the oil off your hands. It is an antiseptic and is also good for cold sores by the way !
Sorry I just realised, I am not sure if it helps the sweatiness, it does help the smell !
Sometines sweatiness can be made worse by diet. You could try leaving certain
things out of your diet and see if that helps. Certain deodrants also clog pores and
make the situation worse.Hope my suggestions help you a little.
You could go for a PH balanced one to see if that helps or try an antibacterial wash like Sanex or Carex if you are worried about the sweat smelling.

If it is a big problem see if you can arrange to see you GP and have a chat to them.
A lot of it is due t your body making adjustments it will settle down with time.... you might find a peppermint shower gel like original source will make you feel cooler and fresher though and then just use a good antiperspirant ... you could freshen up with deodorant wipes during the day too
After you have had a shower, dont get dressed immediately, just wrap a dressing gown or towel around you for a few minutes....let your body calm down after the heat and steam, use a good anti-perspirant such as Mitchum (its a bit more expensive but it is excellent). If you really are desperate and nothing else seems to be working have a chat with your GP or chemist and see if you can get some Anhydrol Forte (not sure if this available without prescription though), hope you get some relief.
Oh and take a can of deodorant spray with you to school so at break times or a visit to the loo, you can have a top up spray. :)
Mitchum is excellent (men's and women's version), we don't use anything else these days.
Does anyone think a body spray would help
It has no anti perspirant properties but it will cool you down and mask any smell
No ric.ror - you need to get to the cause of the problem, not just mask it.
I think the OP is a female Albags :)
The original source shower gels are very good...massive amounts of natural stuff in them. I recommend the tea tree or lime ones. Also...u will not beat mitchum deodrant for keeping the stickiness at bay
