Repetitive syndrome?

I work in an open plan office. I'm rather perturbed by a
manager that works for the company who seems to repeat and repeat and finish off my sentences whenever I speak to him. Its getting more and more annoying and I have nitced he can't help but do this all the time with whoever he speaks to.

I'm not sure if I should tackle this issue with him, due to doing it to everyone, surely he must have had someone tell him how bloody annoying it can get. I have recently started talking to him and suddenly changed the subject midway through conversation just to catch him out, he goes quiet then catches on and continues to finish or repeat what I'm saying. Anyone else experienced this and tackled this delicate matter?

Hi Spinchimp...erm sorry scuzzball..... so glad we haven't seen the last of you sunshine....
Yes, nice try...
Scanning may I suggest as you seem to dislike your 'irritating' co-workers so much that you look for another job!

Thanks Hellion, it has been mentioned before, believe it or not it is a very good place to work, and a very large company so although it sounds like I dislike my co-workers, this is only a very small percentage of characters I work with day to day. So some constructive answers would be appreciated!
how about 'put up or shut up'? Constructive enough for you?
I feel sorry for these 'work colleagues' of yours tbh
If you really cant stand it then get another job

"put up or shut up"..... WHY should I????... was a simple enough question wasn't it??... ask a simple question about some characters in my work place. So NO not very constructive redcrx. I feel sorry for my work collegues too!
Ha!
How many people in your workplace have you not complained about on here?
Question Author
Firstly I am not complaining... and secondly the answer to your question is over 300 staff, plus other satellite offices
your intolerance is intolerable...and dull
Try speaking a little faster so you can finish your own sentences.
Instead of running off to get another job where you could get someone with a different problem or another person who repeats everything you say, u could just deal with it.

You could either wait until next time it happens and if he completes your sentence and it's not what you were going to say then you could make a joke about it and mention that he always repeats what your about to say and say it confuses you.

Or you could get someone who he wont get offended as much by if you mention it to him.
The answer is really quite obvious.....

Get some people skills and communication skills as you so obviously have none......
Looks like spinchimp wasn't the only one bored with your peurile questions - getting the message.
i had a friend, she had a problem with every one..in the end it turned out that the problem was her. Just a thought x
scanning, i do wish you would have a look here http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/JCP/index.html maybe you could find something that's not in an open plan office. Maybe you could even find a job where you have a nice little office all of your own!!!! lol
