EDL versus the others?

Was this council right to offer £1,000 compensation to this couple, just because there happened to be a demonstration near to their marriage venue?
Why is it that the EDL are always reported as the baddies? take this passage,
/// 550 protesters from the far-Right EDL battled 100 demonstrators from United Against Fascism.///
It was automatically assumed that the EDL 'battled' the UAF, when most likely it was the UAF that turned out to do the 'battling', and why is it that the UAF are not labelled the far Left?
Take a look at the two photos who would you rather face on a dark night photo one or photo two?

1) Both of these groups are extremist, so effectively as bad as one another.
2) I fail to see howw AOG's comment is 'barbed'. He accepts that her view will be that way especially in her circumstance. Hardly barbed,
3) I see all those attacking AOG actually failed to answer teh question. I know this is typical of the 'liberal elite' we get on this site, but hey fella's change the record and at least have the grace to post a reply even if it is alongside your reiduclous comments.

youngmafbog What is the point of arguing, wel you don't argue do you? You raise a point, then anyone who disagrees with you is then abused.
As I have pointed out the whole idea is if someone raises an argument, you are supposed to come back with a counterpoint, however it never happens. The first thing is its a left conspiracy etc etc no rhyme no reason just well nothing.
So its pointles responding ion any valid way to anything thats said and thats me done here.

youngmafbog :
Question 1 - yes. The couple had arranged their wedding six months earlier, the EDL/UAF lot presumable decided to do their thing at a later date. So the council, in association with the police, could have banned the demos, or permitted them on a day when people were not getting married at that location.
Question 2 - don't know and don't care. A pox on the houses of all extremists
Question 3 - see answer to question 2
Question 4 - Either or neither
So, there you go, all questions answered.

Why is it that the EDL are always reported as the baddies?
Because such a ridiculously vast number of people hate their guts.
It's the same thing as certain elements of the right wing press who know that their readers enjoy stories about black muggers and extremist Muslim clerics because it fits in with their ongoing narrative.
The rest of us enjoy reading stories about the innate rottenness of te EDL, BNP etc.
It's a kind of karmic balance.

This is what I wrote,
/// Well that is understandable, in the circumstances you would say that, whereas others wouldn't.///
Once again an over the top responce to anything I post, led of course by no other than jackthehat who has a perverse view of things.
Did I say anyone should agree with me? No
I said her answer was understandable, seeing that she was married to an Asian guy, so obviously she was being bias.
So being a white guy please allow me to have my opinion, without the need for your snide comments, after all I too have a right to be bias.
Incidentally I think pixi-'s experiences are a stretch of the imagination, I have seen many mixed raced couples going about their business without any of those over the top reactions she described, being taken against them.
