They only allow soap, not shower gel!
And.. as you walk through the bar area, never ask "can I just push your stool in!"

It must be worth somebody's time to book in and turn up as a married couple.

And sue.
Question Author
Married heterosexual couple, I meant.
In what way?

To prove that discrimination works both ways. There cannot be 'gay only' hotels, surely? And the other B&Bs weren't refusing them accommodation, just double rooms.

Perhaps the Christian B&B owners should make all their rooms twin or single.

He tried to get an exemption and failed.
But I bet he's slightly more canny when turning prospective guests away...............
This can only really be checked out with a test case. A straight couple will need to book into the hotel and ask for a double room.

I absolutely GUARANTEE to you that they will face no problem, because after the recent cases, no gay establishment would be stupid enough to bate the right wing press.

However...it would be great if they DID. It would be fantastic if a 'gays only' guest house WAS taken to court for discrimination because that way, it would silence the Christians cry of 'we are being persecuted because of our faith'.

The minute it happens to a gay establishment, their argument collapses.

I actually hope someone carries it out!
They should be prosecuted for the poor grammar on their site, never mind any discrimination issues. There is no apostrophe in saunas. ;-)
Who wants an apostrophe in saunas when you have
FREE! 20 meg WiFi connection in all rooms
After hc4361 posted this has anyone else noticed how the web page has changed.
Notice how it no longer states Male only, Did one of our Gay members warn them.
Perhaps they feel that they are now in danger of being 'set-up' and due to the weight of current reporting have altered the wording to appear more lawfully inclined ?

(And no, I didn't pop along and warn them................)
Whers the link to the suing story?
On my thread further down, DtD.
Maybe the B&B owner does not want poop on his sheets.
That looks quite jolly.

Would they actually turn away a straight couple? I don't think any of the gay bars here are too worried who comes in. We go in them all the time. I haven't spent the night at Ledend's yet, though.
