Just thought I would let you know I have just received a spam E_Mail adressed to Dear Alex.as this is the only site I use that name on, (its actually my middle name) they must have somehow got my e-mail adress from here. Any ideas?

Never check my spam but just did (following on from your warning) and I have two from Customes and Excise (apparently they owe me money which I can claim through pay pal) and one from the Halifax (who I don't even bank with). How do the people who send these things out actually con people - do they hope that they will get someone's bank details?

I suspect it's a coincidence. there's enough spam out there, some of it must seem to have a real name on it.

You might be right Sara it just seemed a bit strange as most spams dont have a name at all

Am recovering well and there are signs of Mamya's No4 fledging's arrival!! Contractions have been had, though a lull is on at the moment.LOL

I thought a lot of spam came from millions of computer generated random e-mail addresses and just by chance some of them will be real.
