I can under stand why they want to protest as my son went through uni and it cost us enough back then in 1999-2003.
But how does this violence look for our country. Its no wonder we were not given the world cup venue when we behave like this. I dont think theres any need for violence

However, having said that, Im glad they scared the sh*t out of the royals. Now Charlie will know how Diana felt being hounded by the press as she drove around which caused her death !!

Oh dear.
What a horrible thing to say! These 'protesters' are behaving shamefully.
didn't their driver have an indication of this?
what posessed him to drive right through a 'riot'
I think their behaviour is disgusting. To do such a thing to the future king of England is beyond words.
Why haven't the riot squad turned the hoses on them yet?

I agree that their behaviour in the riots is unacceptable.
Will Charlie ever become our King?. I think a lot of people hope not. I dont think a bit of a scare will affect him
who, Charles and Camilla...lol
know what you mean Daisho, would have been heart-warming to see
Mummy and Daddys little darlings take a dousing in the freezing weather
You don't think so TOH? I'm sure he'll be very relieved to hear it!! What a ridiculous thing to say!
TOH, nobody can condone this type of thing whether we like Charles and Camilla or not, it was mob rule there last night
surley though, knowing what was going on in London, why did they arrive in such a conspicuous car?

They must have a discreet, Blacked out car in there within there fleet?

they might as well of had a flashing neon sign on there roof flashing Charlie and Camilla!
Any sympathy for the "students" has now gone. Why should we pay for them to go through uni?
You appear to have got your issues mixed up, TOH.
1. University education should be a privilege NOT a right.
2. How on earth can behaving like rank hooligans around the POWs car advance any sort of sympathy for them ?
3. What has the rioting got to do with the succession of the British monarchy ?
At the very least they need to identify them and ban them from the right to have an education..!! This is not the behaviour of the educated.
MrIncredible, they should need to hide for fear of being attacked by hooligans.
*shouldn't
And why would they expect to attacked?
I'm no fan of the royals but do think that Camilla handled it all very well saying "these things happen". Can't imagine Saint Diana being so pragmatic.
Ummmm, I think the royal family are quite aware that they are likely to be attacked at some time. They are high profile people. I can't imagine Charles and Camilla had a laugh over this!!
By students though?

I just can't believe they are getting away with it...
Nor me Ummmm. I remember that woman who stood in Whitehall and read out the names of the war dead. She was arrested.
