Here we have three Asian peers, all millionaires in their own right, who are not content with all their riches and the honours that we have bestowed upon them, they still find it necessary to swindle the British taxpayer out of thousands.

I know they are not on their own, but one would think that they would be the first to set an example, given the position they hold in British society.

There must be a very small minority of the ethnic minorities, that reach the dizzy heights of becoming peers of the realm, and yet here we have three together on the make, what kind of message does this give out?

I dont see why you place emphasis on their Ethnic background -

// I know they are not on their own, but one would think that they would be the first to set an example, given the position they hold in British society//

Why necessarily , because they are asian ?

Theft is theft , irrespective as to whether your'e White , Black , Asian , or pink with blue spots
Not a good message. Politics on the Asian subcontinent is often murky and rife with corruption. It would appear some of those traits have come with these 3 as they embarked on their political careers in the UK.

I do not agree that they should be more honest that the rest of the Peers because they are of Asian origin. Dishonesty occurs in all cultures and classes.

Couldn't agree more Gromit, one would be a fool not to.

Also agree, but then perhaps Gromit, you will agree that they could be more 'dishonest', taking into account your other statement?

Suspended for theft ?? Kick them out of the Lords - they are unworthy to have the honour of sitting in a House of Parliament.
