for all his faults i think leslie grantham is a good soap actor and the dirty den character is the most recognisable one of all, does anyone else think eastenders have made a mistake in killing him off?

I think Leslie Grantham is a rubbish actor and a murderer to boot. They should never have brought him back.

i have to say i think he was just like an old hasbeen.sliming all over the young girls and just trying to look hard and menacing like in his old days yuck.im glad that they have killed him off as he has annoyed me ever since the first "allo princess".

The only change in the storyline I would have made is that I would have killed him off with an inter-continental ballistic missile, thus wiping out the entire Square.

i too cant stand soaps and 'stenders seems to be at an all time low at the moment.

bobtheduck, I've watched Eastenders for more years than I can remember and personally I love seeing old characters come back. I liked Dirty Den years ago but he just wasnt the same as an old man. I think Eastenders need to get some more new characters in but I also hope that there will be some great storylines with Phil and Grant returning, we'll see eh?!!

Yes Leslie may be a good actor however the had to be axed due to his horrid faults in which he exposed himself on the webcam. Also i find the character boring and unrealistic.
