Ffion Hague has now gone back to live in Wales. Will the god fearing Welsh people accept her husbands unusual lifestyle?

The usual rubbish, no doubt peddled by som lefty.

I have shared a room with a bloke on jobs. Anyone want to call me a poof ?

Unlike Haigue I'll knock your bloody lights out.

What I dont understnad is what is the problem if he is gay ? Thought we lived in a who cares world now ?
Perhaps cos if he is gay his wife might not be too impressed?

......and I'm sure Hague could easily have afforded 2 single rooms so why share a twin room? Would he have shared a twin room if his 'special advisor' had been an attractive 25 year old female?
To be quite honest, I don't really care.

headline news.... I've shared a bed with my best mate!
I've shared a room with (at separate times, I hasten to add);
a straight man,
a gay man,
a straight woman,
a gay woman.
In the morning(s) we emerged with our virtue intact.............

Ymb, I wouldn't dare call you a poof. You can share a room with anyone you like.

Did he have big muscles?
oh what a gai Dai...
Joeluke - “and I'm sure Hague could easily have afforded 2 single rooms so why share a twin room? Would he have shared a twin room if his 'special advisor' had been an attractive 25 year old female?”

By asking the question in this way, you've also answered it.

If his colleague had been female then he wouldn't have shared a room with her for fear of being accused of infidelity in the press. The fact that his colleague was male and that he shared a room with him, demonstrates that the potential accusation of infidelity didn't even cross his mind.

And why would it? If he's a heterosexual man (which I honestly believe that he is) then sharing a hotel room with another man whilst away on business is perfectly reasonable. Thousands of people do it, day in and day out.

This really is gutter level press at its absolute worst.
Birdie.....again I reiterate, Hague could easily have afforded 2 single rooms

So why the NEED to share a twin room?

I'm sure the chambermaid only had one bed to make in the morning
Joe, maybe he's got a lot of money because he doesn't waste it on unnecessary crap like booking two rooms when one will do? Basing someone's sexuality on something as trivial as hotel bookings is pure tripe. I've shared a room with 40 other bloke's, what does that make me?
He might have preferred some company. I would rather share than stay in a hotel room on my own regardless of money.
Do we even know that it was a double bed, JL? Many hotel bedrooms are twins. Saving money to me seems a sensible idea since we the taxpayers were probably paying for it, being on official business.
and the bottom line is ..... does anybody care ??
A 49 year old man and his 25 year old 'special advisor' sharing a twin room is hardly akin to 40 military men sharing a billet

Rumours about Hague and Seb Coe also having a 'special friendship' have been doing the rounds for years

No smoke without fire
Boxtops......twin room = twin beds

Hence my 'only one bed to make comment'
Seekeerz......I think Hague's Mrs might care
No smoke without fire. That's a load of crap.
Smoke without fire is the biggest pile of Sugar ever created and i'll prove it.
If a few of us repeat the rumour that you are gay and lost your cherry to graham norton then there's the smoke, but there's blatantly no fire there!
