Should £6 million a year man Fabio Capello be sacked because after 2 years :-

He still cant speak English properly

He keeps starting or bringing on a 50 year old Heskey

He still frightens the English players and the fans

He knows nothing about motivating obscenely overpaid players when they play for England

He hasn’t heard of hearts or minds

He is an Italian secret agent on a mission to destroy English Football

He doesn’t drink beer

Hes a martinet

He spoilt the World Cup WAG Circus

He rotates the English Captaincy far too often

He couldn’t sort out the Lampard Gerrard problem

He doesn’t have affairs with FA secretaries or Ulrika Johnson

He was the architect of England’s heaviest ever World Cup Defeat - and by Germany

He waves his arms about like a whirling dervish and mimes in Italian on the touchline

He even frightens Psycho Stuart Pearce

He has difficulty picking goalkeepers and then picks Butter Fingers as his No 1

He picked David Beckham for the Squad knowing full well he wasn’t fit

Hes got a funny chin

He got us only 5 points and 2nd place in the easiest group in World Cup Final history

He is not an English Patriot and doesn’t sing the English National Anthem - the swine !

He blames the ball and match officials for England’s world cup woes

He sometimes still pretends he doesnt understand

What do you think - and let me know if I missed any ?

Yeah, why not sack him and bring back one of these highly successful Ingerlund managers instead:

Graham Taylor, Terry Venables, Glenn Hoddle, Kevin Keegan, Sven-Goran Eriksson, Steve McLaren.

Gosh, they won loads of things as Ingerlund manager, didn't they? (Cough, cough......).

"the cricket team is already run along those lines, olddutch - several saffers and the current leading light has been poached from Ireland. This is working. However, it will meet with stiff opposition from all those people in the News section demanding an instant end to immigration!"

Jno, be alright under controlled immigration though i hope

"In answer to your original question olddutch YES - he must go"

Xray - yes but for which of the reasons i gave ?

Steve McLaren just won Dutch premiership with Twente but on second i think your right - what about Roy or Harry though from our premiership - done ok with Fulham and Spurs - Roy also did ok as Manager guiding the Swiss national team to the last 16 of the 1994 World Cup and qualification for Euro 1996?
Did Fabio pick a team of players capable of beating Germany?

Yes ...

So, he got it right, but the players did not perform ... sack the players.

No ...

So the players should not be selected again ... sack the players.

Never ... in my life !!! .. have I done badly at sport, and then tried to blame the person sitting on the side line.

Come on, England players ... you are big boys ...

... if you can't do the job, then just admit it, and make way for someone else.

Don't blame the coach. He was not out there on the pitch.
No matter who they get to be the England Manager, they will never win the World cup in the next 20 years, the players have no heart, no compassion and no incentive, because they make to much money and don't give a toss.
Yes, trt.

That was shown by how little regard the Premiership managers showed for keeping their players fit for the World Cup.

All Fergie cared about was using Rooney for his last few games ... and sod the World Cup.

In the mean time, the Bundesleague (not sure of spelling) had told their players to use the World Cup Ball for last season, so that German players were getting ready for the World Cup.

And we expected to beat Germany ???????
He should have never been given the job in the first place

England should have an English manager

Roy Hodgson would be my choice
As soon as he lands at Heathrow, put him on the first Plane back to Italy with a Police escort. Employed wrongly by the FA as a great Football Coach, out thought by the Germans and Tactically clueless. Throw him into the Fountains in Rome, even the German Pope is laughing !!
Fabio should go and so should the overpaid overhyped ecocentric bunch of arragnat chaves known as premiership footballers. What a joke.

We should try an England manager and use footballers outside the premiership who are willing to play as a team. Good teamwork will overpower a bunch of oversensitive prima donas any day.
I'm not a fan of Capello particularly but it doesn't make any difference who manages the team, we are simply not good enough. He should stay till the end of his contract and then we can change him without it costing an arm and a leg.
Crapello should retire and run a knackered horse shelter.

Rooney
Ferdinand
King
Beckham
Barry

He surrounded himself with injured donkeys
Mick-Talbot which 11 players would you pick to play for your England team ?
The FA didn't give any priority to the World Cup.

The players had too many games.

They didn't get to practice with the World Cup ball.

They didn't create any process for the clubs to feed players to the national team.

So, to the FA ... Duuuh, Guys !! ... you can't moan now !
Fit ones sly, I said from day one Rooney should not start the games. HE was injured HE conned the nation.

Crouch must wonder what he has to do when a injured player who could not trap a ball, control a ball ,or pass a ball was picked time and time again in front of him.
I'd rather have seen 11 *Championship-players* playing with passion and pride (and losing) than the debacle witnessed in Bloemfontein; where 11 over-paid prima-donnas played like a team whose members had never been introduced to each other.

In future, anyone playing in the Premiership should be automatically excluded from the England squad..........
mic he has conned nobody, the manager wanted him to play, there are another 10 players on that pitch with him, did you think Gerrard and the others played well.
When the idiots at the FA, who seem to know FA, give out £6M salaries from money they've managed to squeeze out of the game, to an individual, can one afford to end that contract ? And why are contracts not written to be ending after a world cup ? Where is the sense of them finishing mid period ?

IMO the neither management nor the players are up to the task. Might be wise to see if one can get Fabio to stick to a, "find young players that might 'come good' next time", policy. And review whether you still want him in charge when the contract expires.

And ensure the next contract is not only cheaper but result dependent.
Gerrard was played in the wrong position, For many years now I have also said we need a manager strong enough to choose either Gerrard or Lampard . Both great players but do not play well together. Capello was guilty of shoehorning players into the team.

Rooney performances for his abilities ....SHOCKING!
I would sooner the FA was disbanded and replaced with an organisation fit for purpose, or at least reformed.

They have gone from one crisis to another for decades. The debacle about building Wembly, the disgraceful pitch, Svengate etc.

Their latest piece of bad management was to change Capello's contract the week before the start of the World Cup. His previous contract, had a two week cooling off period after England's last match in the World Cup. The FA or Capello could terminate his employment without any financial penalties. This was not included in his new contract, which means if he does need to be got rid of, it will cost £12million+ (Bear in mind cost the FA £4millions to get rid of Sven and £2millions to McClaren).

The Government donates £25million (from our taxes) to the English FA. We should demand better accountability before they get anymore of our cash.
OG, most club management contracts seem to be result-dependent; three losses and you're out. Perhaps that's fair enough, but there's also something to be said for long-term planning and team-building. Maybe it's all Fabio's fault. But as I think I already asked on this thread: what squad of players should he have picked, but didn't, that would have won the cup?
