For moving half the grand prix to BBC 2 so we can enjoy some religious clap trap. I recorded it and then spent all morning trying to avoid the result. So imagine how pleased I was when I watched it up to lap 34 and then, chop! What numpty at the BBC made that crass decision? Why couldn't they put the fairy tale stuff on BBC2/3/4 so people can not watch it? Please please tell me this is not some religious mafia sponsored statute!
Although I would put the Grand Prix only marginally above religious clap trap in my interest stakes, it is a stupid decision to switch the race to another channel halfway through. Especially, as you have highlighted, people may record this to watch at a more sociable time of day.
They should use one of those 'press the red button' type channels for minority interest sports, such as religion, but imagine the furore that Beardy would kick up if it was taken off BBC1.
C1948 I have to disagree with you re Christianity my church this morning was packed standing room only that tells me something IIII
There is a little saying I would like to pass on to you
When war is near and danger nigh god and the soldier is the cry when war is over and wrongs are righted god is forgotten the soldier slighted.
Still relevant today and maybe you should think about others before castigating christians !!!!
Millie I do apologise for my tongue in cheek post, which was a skit on Gromits and appears to have gone completely over your head.
I too enjoyed church today and found it quite uplifting.........
BBC 2 has just concluded it's uninterrupted replay of the complete F1 Grand Prix from Malaysia, transmitted at a very sociable time of day. A far more pleasurable experience to that ever offered by ChavTV - oops ITV.
I went to Lincoln Cathedral on one occasion and there were 8 of us in total. I asked
the church book shop lady if it was always quiet like that and she said, oh no last month we had a television crew here and it was packed.
What annoys me is they put these sports through pressing the red button. But because you have no idea whats on and when its pot luck whether you watch your chosen sport. Shouldn't it be included in program schedules such as the Radfio Times or newspapers.
