I once asked on Answerbank for details of a script of a BBC comedy " Whatever happened to the likely lads" and the question was pulled before publication as "unsuitable". My point is that I find it so hard to believe the comments that are being made and allowed to be shown about this tragic case, clearly many people have no sensitivity whatsoever and hide behind their anononimity
Sorry Kestrel, but I dont think I was doing any more than speculate as to why, what has been quoted in the news as some forty school children milling about outside, with others going to work, a man looking out from his garage opposite and another neighbour looking out at that time, nobody saw anything at all. I am not saying anything more than that it doesnt add up.
I agree it is very, very suspicious. The police haven't found a witness who saw anything and they haven't found a gun. Surely if the poor woman was beaten to death, it wouldn't have been in silence would it?

kestrel - i hope i havent offended the family in saying this stuff, but i also cannot understand this one!!! just hope it wasn't the hubby and the murderer gets caught. She shouldn't be dead, such a pretty lady with so much ahead of her...
I must admit that I, for once, agree with suzie...........and I hope I'm wrong.
Question Author
hey craft. we actually agree on something!!!!!
Yep agree!
I have to admit when I read the news item I felt straight away that something didn't seem right.

Me too zeuhl. Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads was the funniest thing on TV, well it would be, coming from Geordie land, like me.
