So what now, how will they start to roll this out and get it working? How will the suits in the medical insurance business fight back? All comments welcome.

Back door Communism innit ?
Exactly how is it back ground communism?

If you want to see communisim in ammerica look at the way the big sports leagues are run.

I cannot see what problem any decent human being would have with allowing people who cannot afford it to get some decent health care.

There could be as many as 49million people who will benifit from this.
Yep and soon to be killed by MRSA if they build it like the NHS.

I think many Americans will rue this day in a few years. It will just hoover up cash, as we have found in this country.
youngmafbog Would you abolish our NHS ?
Question Author
although directed at YMB, can I answer that modeller?

I don't think the NHS should be abolished but I do think it should become primarly a health/medical service rather than an empire building utopia for useless public sector "management" who can't get a proper job. Simplify the management and try and get to the stage where we actually do have more beds than clerks!.

The NHS is a wonderful idea and I'm happy to credit Laour with it. It has morphed into an administrative monster though and does need some looking at.
MRSA is more prevelant in the US than it here it kills thousnads.

I would think you should read some things before making flip statements.
Davethedog I was just getting it in first ,Irony or something innit !
