Harriet Harman appears to be a really hated New Labour figure. Why do you think that is?

Strong woman. Men in power hate that. Newspapers are usually run by men, and they promote her as an hate figure.
Puflette....that is a very good question.

Let me get this out right from the offset...........I fancy her sexually. BUT.....your question.

I don't like her.....why? no idea.
This attitude of left wing Politicians being Privately educated sticks in the throat.

She also seems to be continually "skulking " around the periphery.

Stupid comments I appreciate.....but that is the best I can do.
Because she was a major expenses fiddler?

Because she oversees new laws about driving on the phone, and then drives into a stationary car whilst using her phone behind the wheel?

Because every word she utters has the single objective of holding on to power, instead of progressing any constructive policy?

Because nobody any longer believes anything she says?

Or maybe it's just her cr@p fashion sense?
JJ so .....do you like her? ;-)

yes that's her. it's not that she's a strong a women, she's just full of cr*p. Typical of most politicians everything she says or does is in her own interest, hence her changing her opinions all the time!
Duchess Jogger Jayne of Seagull in particular (and Chelle) youre spot on - although many more of our political "representatives" new labour or not new labour, men or women, are justifiably disliked for very much the same reasons.
not fighting for her cause then jayne ;)
I dont know how it happened but on my previous post I definitely did not type the words "Duchess" or "of Seagull" ????? Anyone shed any light ???
When you get famous on this site your name can be change automatically by the site to a special name ( I am still waiting :o) . Try Bobbi sox ( without the space .)
Let me tell you just one of the reasons why I find her detestable, and that is because early this year she proposed a rule change to have MPs' expenses exempted from the Freedom of Information Act, which would of course have prevented not only the subsequent leaks of them to the Telegraph but of course the ensuing furore.

Sadly for Ms Harman, her plans collapsed when the Tories refused to back Labour, thus opening the floodgates of bilge about the expenses. Therefore, had her little scheme succeeded, we may never have known about the scandalous conduct, literally at our collective expense, of her and her esteemed colleagues. Sneaky b!tch.

The AB obscenity filter is very sensitive and has been known to replace completely innocent words with random words such as Duchess and Seagull. What were those words supposed to be?
I detest the woman........she gives feminists a bad name with her ridiculous efforts to push women forward by not using a level playing field but by tilting it in their favour......as a woman I find this insulting as if I'm good enough to do a job I'll get the job without her interference. I also think she is condescending and patronising I am the Vice-Chairman of a sports association, not a sodding Vice-Chairperson......
I agree with Craft completely - except that I am not a Vice-Chairman of a sports association, nor even a sodding Vice-Chairperson...... :o)
Wanting women only shortlists for safe Labour seats, and then parachuting her husband in to a safe labour seat (where were the women only shortlists then Harman? eh?).
He 'Equality' Bill, which is anything but.
Trying to have MPs expenses exempted from the Freedom of Information Act.
Trotting out, with a straight face, the line that 'it [expenses theft] isn't the MPs thought, its the system's fault'.
Wobbling around in a stab vest in the middle of the day when surrounded by police.
Sending her offspring to schools way way out of area because the local schools, whilst perfectly good for her constituents, weren't good enough for her children.
Having a face like uncooked bread dough.

I really really can't Fluffing stand this woman.
I didn't type 'Fluffing'. I wouldn't use a word as namby-pamby as fluffing to describe this Fluffing woman.
The AB profanity filter is f u c king ridiculous.
Yep but gently amusing and it keeps the place clean of those who just come here to cause trouble.

You just need to be more expressive thats all!
I know I know - my father used to say that (paraphrasing) swearing just demonstrates a limited vocabulary.

I partly agree, but when talking about a person like Harman, I find the F word is the only appropriate word there is.

I'd call her a Fluffing Lady Veg but that really would upset people.
Hello Gromit

re your question "What were those words supposed to be ? "
There were no extra words - I didnt put ANY words around the person postings name !!

Naomicorlet said that if you get famous on this site your name can be changed automatically by the site to "a special name " !!
