According to the front page of the Express, we'll soon be having to pay an EU direct income tax, anyone know if the home income tax will be dropped comensurately, or, as is more likely, will it just be slapped on top? Any of you Europhiles explain to us how this may/will work?

The Express cannot even get its accusations right!

These are suggestions for reforming the budget and nowhere in their own article is there any reference to income tax!
If it was in The Sun (otherwise known as THE DAILY TRUTH ) I may have believed it !!!

Heaven forfend Jake, surely you are not suggesting that the Express is printing un truths on it's front page? So with your Europhile hand on heart can you say that this is not in the pipeline then? Surely it's a natural next step to create federal taxation when creating a United states type arrangement. I mean once the Czech's have been brow beaten into signing and his Tonyness is in the presidential Palace with the WWW, surely attention would then shift to squeezing dosh out of the hapless populus. I'll bet a pound to pinch of sh1t it's on the cards somewhere.
If Blair is behind it then more tax to pay for him his despicable Missus and is cronies (new and old)

Come on R1 you know this is to fund more extreme lefty idealology.

More Ammo for the BNP too !! Pinko's will just not learn.

I reckon we could end up fighting the Hun again
