This did make me laugh - especially the bit about his wife having to have a sit down. I'm surprised thy even have children if this embarrasses her!

It was as a complaint to a Catholic Newspaper about 5 years ago.

Perhaps the Daily Mule is running "best of outraged of Tunbridge Wells" whilst everybody is on holiday
The filth is in the eye of the beholder. They should have have booted him out of the shop for being a dirty minded old sod and making lewd suggestions to the staff.
Does rather remind me of the old joke about the nun who clips a young lad around the ear and says:

"Stop whistling that disgusting song!"
well, if the shopkeeper asked him 'Would you like to take my cherry?'...
'The lime, whom I assume to be the gentleman in this coupling, has a particularly lurid expression on his face.'
