Note: The word "My" in the clues refers to the theme for this crossword. All answers to these clues are TREES.

8a My boar one among the sounder? (8).
?A?????Y. A sounder may refer to a herd of pigs but I'm really struggling with this crossword. Any help appreciated.

2d My short break with Mike. (4). ???M

11a (NOT a "MY" clue). Heather bringing in work to North Teesdale village (10). ??R?I?G?O? Darlington is all I can come up with, but Darlington is hardly a village! Ling, meaning heather seems to make sense and ton at the end could be to north. Dar does not seem to make any sense though.

3d. My shopping arcade everyone's outside.(6)
?????E

Thanks a million Lie - in - king.

I still can't work out 2d. My short break with Mike (4). I now have ?O?M. Can you help? HOLD ON, I think I might just have got it. It could be HOLM short HOLiday + M for Mike. This must refer to the holm oak (holly). Do you think this is correct?
Your thinking re. 'Holm' is correct ff.
