The murderers of the two French Students have been sentenced to 35 and 40 year minimum sentences. The French Press have been bewildered by the media unfriendly nature of our courtroom procedures and reporting on trials. Is it time for modernisation of the judiciary and its processes?

We should modernise it only if would be an improvement to the legal process and NOT because the French press criticised it.

It is good that the two murderers have been given long sentences. Some sentences for serious crimes seem frighteningly short.
The process is fine the only changes I'd make are that we introduce the radical innovation of actually punishing criminals.
So, what do they want? Justice or Jokes?
Yeah, who cares what the French think.
