How is it the That the NHS can find the time to examine an animal that died 11 000 years ago but can't often seem to find the time for it's own living patients?
How many appointments got cancelled so they could x-ray this mammoth.

Part of this NHS Trusts' function is research. It will be this time which was used for examining the Mammoth, not patient time.

In light of the 'obesity epidemic' maybe they will learn something about how bones withstand massive weight ?
