I'd always understood that when Alan Lancaster was forced out of Status Quo in 1986, he was very bitter, and remains so now. However, as per the attached You Tube link, he meets up with Rick Parfitt and John Rhino Edwards in 1995 and it all seems pretty friendly - no obvious bitterness.

Does anyone know any more about this?

Thanks for this RoaldoM. However, this indicates remaining bitterness in 2005, whereas the You Tube clip indicates none 10 year's earlier. Any thoughts on this?
It looks like a degree of professional courtesy is at work here.

Coghlan was notoriously the most miserable man in music, and not missed at all by the others.

I have interviewd Parfitt and Rossi several times and they are warm, witty, and wonderful company.

Thanks Andy, that seems plausible.

I'm interested that you've interviewed Parfitt and Rossi several times. Did you ever meet Alan Lancaster, and if so what's he like?
I didn't ever meet AL.

First time I met Rossi and Parfitt was in a studio, and only the two of them were working that day.

The next times I met them, either at parties or backstage or at interviews, was after he left.
