tried to give up smoking a few weeks back.
He lasted only 3 weeks.
His excuse?
The non-smoking crowd at his work were too boring! So he had to start again to get back into the interesting smoking crowd.

I went on a New Leaf course, and it certainly worked - with ease - but without smokers, the government'd be running round with their heads up their bums, wondering how else to generate such vast amounts of money from the hefty taxation.

Yes pink - I think most pubs provide some kind of shelter from the elements, although most of these have open sides, so it'd still be rather cold to stand out side, even with a heater, which I guess most crowd around.
Having said that....shhhh...I know of a little pub that's refused to bend to the rules. Even the local policeman has one!
