was it arson.Mabye someone was offended by its presence
The troops should not have been allowed to be jeered etc... but without free speech what have we got? A talibanesque society? NO THANKS! The bad thing now is that the muslims are probably going to target a church and then the game of tit for tat will just go on!

It might help if we all knew what you were on about?

shameful protesting (if that's what it was) is no justification for arson.
mushroom: Thanks for the link.

It's fair to say that this could be seen as some sort of "reprisal" for the disrespect shown by certain Muslim extremists in Luton that day. But it doesn't make it right.

Assuming that this is arson, all that it has "achieved" is that the Muslim community there have been deprived of their meeting place. Thankfully no one was injured.

No.
no i dont think the muslims deserved this at all.
What's the link between the centre and the protesters?

Did the cowards who committed the arson find out that the protesters met there or something???
If anything it may well have radicalised someone . Violence breeds violence .

paraffin,

Don't you read or see the NEWS?
On our local news channel (bbc east) it was reported that some muslims were calling it a "terrorist attack".
Was it arson-probably
Was ir racial-certainly.
Was it a terrorist attack-absolutly not.
Had it been one then whoever did it would have made sure the building was full.
Did they deserve it-no.
Don't be rude, trt. You put some post on here and expect everyone to know what you're talking about.

For all you know I might have been climbing a mountain today.
So next time, don't assume.
You reap what you sow.
The Muslim community doesn't deserve it, but it doesn't surprise me. I find it quite frightening.
Karma.
So zen is karma what we as westerners are experiencing after Centurys of thieving, rape and slavery?
No.
If a Church gets burnt down it hardly warrants a mention, they call that vandalism, why should this be viewed or treated any differently?
"If a Church gets burnt down it hardly warrants a mention, they call that vandalism, why should this be viewed or treated any differently?"

When was the last time a church was burnt down by arsonists?

paraffin,

I know you wouldn't have been climbing a mountain today, because you wouldn't have read my Q?.
"Don't you read or see the NEWS?"

it's on the BBC's Beds,Bucks and Herts page but not on the main page, did it make the national news? If not, how would we have heard about it?
