Sweet karma! I really hope that they dress him in makeup, stockings and suspenders and throw him into the general prison population just as all the warders are "going out for lunch" so this animal can have a taste of his own sick medicine.
I was physically, (not sexually), assaulted repeatedly by my father and sustained very real, very permanant injuries from it. In my youth I too was violent, although never to my children... so I do understand that this low life probably has a wealth of unsorted out psychological problems. HOWEVER... anyone who commits a crime against someone, espeically of this nature, deserves everything they get and although I hope that they address his issues in prison and that when he leaves he can live a better life and all that, I think he basically deserves everything that he gets, so I've absolutely no sympathy for him other than to say if his childhood abuse story is true then I'm truly sorry it happened to him, but it's not an excuse and it's actually quite offensive to use it as such to the millions of other people who have had similarly awful childhoods and choose NOT to behave like this.

It must have been awful for you obNOXious. I hope you've managed to overcome your demons? My closest friend was sexually abused along with her sister from the age of 4 by her stepdad. She's had several bad breakdowns over the years and is only recently coming to terms with the damage he did. Her sister became an alchoholic. The stedad died 2 weeks ago aged 82,my friend says she can now move on further.

Good on you ,mate.

In the past I have criticised you for the rather aggressive answers you have hurled at me.

But now after reading your rather upsetting post regarding early childhood, and of the psychological scars it must have left you with, I can understand to a certain extent of where you are.

I therefore apologise to you most sincerely and hope that someday you will be able to shake off those early upsetting memories, and continue to give your children a happy childhood that you never got.

Sorry - I understand everyone's hatred and anger but I don't feel that his being raped in prison is acceptable.
He has committed a horrendous crime and thankfully, given the failings of the criminal justice system both here and in the USA, has been found guilty and sentenced. He should never again walk the streets IMO but I would NEVER wish rape on anyone.
That is vengence - not justice. Accepting vegence as a punishment for perpetrators of violent crimes actually validates those who carry out similar acts and justify them by saying it happened to me.
No human being should ever be physically abused, assaulted or violated by another. No matter where they are or how they got there.
There are many who have been abused and would never allow their experience to influence their behaviour. But there are those who can't get past it too. Lock him up for life. Don't allow him back into the society he has proven he can't handle. But don't wish on him what he has done to others please! What the heck does that say about us!
We're better then that. That's why we have choices - and he has sacrificed his.
Given that the guy concerned is very small, and will be unable to defend himself against the big guys, I suppose one can understand his feeling that the death penalty would be preferable. Once he's in prison, I don't think he stands a chance of avoiding violation. Some would say it is retribution that he deserves. I doubt that the prison authorities would put him in isolation to protect him from assault.
firetracie, that is one of the best posts I've ever read.

I agree with every word.
