Was'nt it Argentina who followed to the letter the I.M.F plans only to go bankrupt in what became known as the "crisis econonomica"?

Argentina's economic collapse of the early years of this decade had the IMFs fingerprints all over it.
As you can imagine, the IMFs predictions over the past few years have been as wide of the mark as everyone elses.
It is clear we are in for a tough time over the next year or so, but probably not as dire as the IMF have asserted.

No you cant trust them, not like you can trust Gordon Brown.
I really trust a man who sells half our gold reserves at the lowest price for years, since when the price of gold has gone up and up, costing this country billions of pounds.
Yes, I really trust man like that to run the country.
