Yes, I had a great time. First time in Gran Canaria and I think it's a lovely island, much prettier than Tenerife, and of course the weather is fabby.

I sent welcome home message to Ethel 2 days ago and didn't get a reply.

Mrs O sends one at 10.am today and gets a reply at 10.38 same day.

Bathsheba - I had to leave as my youngest was off school and started projectile vomitting....on my just cleaned suite, argh!

I wrote to the parking ticket people and (truthfully) told them that several people use my car. I told them I was NOT prepared to give them details of the drivers. I asked them to provide evidence of who was driving that day, and if they couldn't do that....not to bother me again.

To date, I've heard nothing back from them.
